About The Instructor

Welcome

Welcome to my page! I'm Lynda Williams, and I've been practicing various styles of yoga since 1979, with a particular passion for heated Hatha yoga. I'm drawn to the slow, intentional postures that focus on alignment to prevent injury while enhancing concentration, stamina, strength, and flexibility. After completing my 200-hour teacher training certification in 2019, I'm thrilled to share this transformative journey with you. I will be incorporating my background in health and nutrition to maximize the benefits of your practice. I am excited to embark on this path of health and healing together!

The Mission

Making a lifestyle change can be challenging, and taking that first step often feels daunting. A wise friend once told me, "Just get in the car," a piece of advice I cherished during my last month of yoga teacher training. Despite my exhaustion and self-doubt, I followed his words and found renewed strength. My mission is to make your journey to wellness as positive and enjoyable as possible, encouraging you to just "get in the car" even on the toughest days.

The Vision

In the 64 years of life I have experienced, I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to share the knowledge and wisdom I have picked up along the way. My heartfelt vision is to enrich the lives of others by guiding them in their journey to health and true happiness. My hope is to make a meaningful impact in their lives with a whole mind and body transformation through the practice of yoga, mindfulness, and self-acceptance. I am passionate about cultivating and nurturing a culture of kindness and gratitude.
